   Due to the interest in class advanced booking is advised to avoid disappointment.  Generally courses are filled a month before the start date.   Please phone or e-mail and we will send out a booking form.   The answer phone is always on so please leave a message and we will contact you within 24hrs. 

 

 

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme.

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme (KCGCS) is open to anyone, is non competitive and is the largest dog training scheme in the UK.   This scheme is helping to promote socially acceptable dogs and responsible owners, something which has become more important in recent years.  

We offer the following training (and examination) in:- Puppy Foundation*

                                                                                     Gold

The scheme brings together simple exercises, such as basic dog training, grooming, exercise and much more.   A brief look at each level follows.

All of this and more sets you and your puppy on the right path.
 
Bronze level
 
Collar and Lead

Control at door/gate
Controlled walk through people and dogs
Stay on lead for one minute

Present for examination
Return to handler

Play with the dog
Road walk
Re-join the handler
Stay for two minutes
Vehicle control
